San Francisco Post Acute is making every effort to prevent the exposure of COVID-19 to our residents and staff. Our number one priority is the safety of all the individuals who live in our community. With all of the directives from CMS, California Department of Health, California Governor, and the President of the United States, we are temporarily restricting all visitors in the facility, including non-essential vendors, until further notice.
We are closely monitoring the situation daily, and as soon as we are certain that the safety of our residents will not be compromised with visitors, we will lift the restrictions. The only exception with this restriction will be in the case of “end of life” care after passive and active screening requirements have been met including ensuring that your temperature does not meet or exceed 100 degrees.
In the meantime the facility has several means of audiovisual communication available for video calls via Skype. You can schedule a time to connect with a loved one by emailing email@example.com to schedule a time.

24-Hour Skilled Nursing Care
We are proud to offer qualified, experienced nursing care to our residents whether your stay is short or long-term. We have registered nurses, licensed practical(vocational) nurses, as well as certified nurse assistants available 24 hours a day to ensure that your skilled nursing needs are met.
Nutrition is key to your recovery. We have a Clinical Dietitian that reviews each diet to ensure a well balanced approach to eating and recovery. This is a vital element to recovery post surgery or hospital stay. They will work with you, your family and the medical professionals to develop meal plans essential to your recovery.
We offer an activity program 7 days a week through our Activities Department, to meet the needs aligned with our residents. We understand that mental and physical well being are very important to the recovery process and we tailor our programs to the interests of our current residents.
Some of the activities you might see ongoing are social gatherings, exercise classes, artwork projects, iPad games, musical entertainment, karaoke, newspaper and coffee and current event discussions.
